The Women’s Giving Circle (TWGC) is so excited by the response we received to the Date with a Plate event scheduled for Jan. 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Chianti Room. Creekers have lined up at the Eagle’s Nest kiosk several times to buy tickets for this new event. Thanks to our generous sponsors—Donna M. Strand of Realty ONE Group, State Farm Mariana Chavez Agency, and Bobbi Young with The Rodney Jackson Group—we expect to raise over $3,000 for the Agua Fria Food Bank. Guests will be inspired to come up with their own creations as they tour the spectacular table settings created by Lynda Bailey, Jean Bee, Phyllis Breitenborn, Meg Chrisman, Sheryl Dobbin, Beverly Drury, Barb Goodpaster, Ada Gregory, Regina Mamer, Marie Randall, and Lil Wattenberg. These women, with help from some special friends, have created a visual feast for your eyes. You can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar while you spend a lovely afternoon in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Don’t forget to bring cash or checks for the silent auction of marvelous pieces created by PebbleCreek artisans.
The next activity for TWGC will be the 3rd Annual Packing Party to benefit Go With The Flow, sponsored by Maureen McCann with Realty ONE Group. We would also like to thank all the talented sewers in the community who volunteered their time and talents to create more than 1,000 beautiful bags with matching buttons ready to be filled with product. Watch for upcoming announcements about the menstrual products to be donated to help make this event a success.
