John Cohn, PebbleCreek HOA Board of Directors
Every year, PebbleCreek’s homeowner newsletter reminds you that HOA Board elections matter. And every year, that’s true. But this fall’s election carries weight that sets it apart from any that have come before it.
The Board member elected this November will not simply fill a seat. They will carry a specific and consequential responsibility: completing the work of community transition—the formal transfer of governance from Robson Communities to the homeowners of PebbleCreek—and helping to navigate what comes next.
Transition is not a formality. It involves decisions about staffing, finances, technology, contracts, and long-term infrastructure that will shape this community for years. Done well, it protects what you’ve built here. Done poorly, it creates problems that are expensive, slow, and hard to unwind.
The person you elect this fall will be in the room when those decisions are made.
So this year, I strongly urge you to learn about the candidates. Read their platforms. Ask questions. Show up.
PebbleCreek is at a turning point. The election that gets us through it deserves your attention.
