Our four girls ready for camp
Ronnie Levine
T.T.T. Chapter Q and Chapter P met in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse for a game day followed by lunch. We enjoy having these opportunities to get our groups together for socializing knowing that we share a love of sending girls to camp.
We had a Meet and Greet with the 4th grade girls from Heritage Elementary in Glendale who will attend camp this summer. It was attended by parents, siblings, and teachers. We showed them all the items that will be purchased by us for their camp experience, and everyone enjoyed pizza and dessert. We took the campers shopping for clothing and other personal items at Walmart, which included lunch at McDonalds. This is always a fun experience for members and campers!
Save the date! The Thaddeus Rose Band will again lead the festivities at the Chapter Q dance fundraiser on Oct. 24 in the Tuscany Clubhouse. Tickets will go on sale Sept. 23, 24, and Oct. 3 at the kiosk in Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse.
T.T.T. members meet throughout the year in the PebbleCreek clubhouse. We hold a yearly fundraiser to be able to help the girls chosen by their teachers to go to Girl Scout camp for a week in the summer. We also meet with the girls throughout the year, and we keep in touch with the girls who attended camp in the past while they are still at Heritage.
For over 100 years, the T.T.T.—which stands for Time, Talent, and Treasures—has been dedicated to helping girls attend camp, which we feel is a great place for girls to stretch their abilities, build self-confidence, and learn to see the wider world.
