The PebbleCreek Republican Club welcomed members and invited guests to the opening meeting of the fall on Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom following a 6:30 p.m. social time.
A thank you went to the participants in the 50/50 drawing with 50% of donations going to the Luke Operation Thunderbox and to our photographer for the evening Marian Long.
Guest Speaker was Patrick Rosenstiel, CEO of Ainsley Shea and senior consultant to the National Popular Vote Bill which would guarantee the presidency to the candidate receiving the most popular votes in all 50 states and District of Columbia while also preserving the Electoral College and the right of states to control elections. His presentation subject, Every Vote Equal, was followed by a lively Q & A session.
The “best Arizona Republican Club for 2014” has a number of upcoming events in 2015, in addition to the monthly meetings on October 1, with speaker Secretary of State Michele Reagan, and December 3. The long-awaited tour to the Reagan Library will begin on November 8 in Solvang with a private customized wine tour November 9 and on November 10 a drive to Simi Valley for a private tour of the Reagan Library and private dinner with a presentation by Steve Chealander, the PCRC Veteran Honoree in 2014. The PCRC is excited to announce its co-sponsorship with ASU’s Center for Political Thought and Leadership in a series of classes Mondays February 15, 22 and 29 and March 7 and 14 in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse Chianti Room.
