Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17, 2015, for the PebbleCreek Art Club Art Walk. This wonderful event will showcase the fabulous talents of Art Club members with over 100 pieces of art on display and for sale in a variety of mediums. The Art Walk will be located in the Renaissance Theatre Lobby and Siena, Palermo and Capri Rooms and hallways. There will be a People’s Choice Award and the public can vote for PebbleCreek Artists’ work. Awards will be for first, second and third place.
In addition, there will be a display of student art from the city of Goodyear’s art students. Raffle tickets for a 50/50 will be sold from now through the evening of the event to benefit City of Goodyear Student Art Initiatives and one lucky ticket holder. Winners need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are on sale in the Expressions Gallery and the committee will be out and about at different events selling tickets for this worthy charity. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
The hours of the Art Walk are 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and there will be classical guitar music during the event provided by Duane Langston. In addition, there will be a cash bar from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The Art Club is coordinating its Art Walk with the October 17 PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club Dinner Dance. The dance is being held in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom with a cash bar at 5:00 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by dancing to the Arizona Swing Kings. Tickets are available from the Ballroom Dance Club.
