Judy Bihary
Art Club members Charlene Romanos and Judy Bihary were recognized by the Goodyear Mayor and City Council Members at the August 24 City Council Meeting. They have been actively involved, along with the Art Club, in working with Arts and Culture Coordinator Guylene Ozlanski to help support the City of Goodyear Art Education Initiatives. These programs encourage artistic development and creative expression for students with special needs and those that may be economically disadvantaged.
Artist and Educator for Arts Interact Jane Odom presented Charlene and Judy with a ceramic piece made by the children in the Arts Interact Program.
Charlene and Judy are co-chairs of the PebbleCreek Art Walk scheduled for Saturday, October 17 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. As part of that event 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold to benefit the continuation of these worthy programs. Tickets are $1 each and six for $5 and will be sold from now through that evening. Besides PebbleCreek Art Club Members’ art pieces on display, there will be a display of student art from the City of Goodyear’s art programs.
