At the Member-Member Tournament earlier this year, the PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association elected officers for the 2015-2016 golfing season. They officially took office on June 1. Since then they have been hard at work planning and organizing events for the upcoming season.

Introducing our leaders:

President Jerry Treece

Jerry is from Michigan (born in Monroe) and spent most of his life in the Ann Arbor area. He worked as an executive for Ford Motor Company for over 33 years, traveling the globe on numerous assignments. He and his wife Nancy have been residents of PebbleCreek since 1999. Jerry has served on the Golf Committee for several years, holding the chairman’s position for two years. He works in the Tuscany Falls Pro Shop and has done so for over 14 years. Jerry is active in his church and had served as Elder. Serving as president, Jerry’s main responsibility is to preside at meetings and oversee the daily operation of the PCMGA.

Vice President Jerry Monk

Jerry grew up in Dallas, Texas, and lived in many states working for Kraft Foods during his 37 year tenure. He worked in the Sales and Marketing Division. He met his wife Donna in Colorado and moved to PebbleCreek from Colorado Springs in 2006 after he retired. They both like to travel and try to visit Europe each year. They also spend time visiting their children in Texas and Colorado. Jerry has been heavily involved with the PCMGA over the last five years serving two terms as tournament chairman and one term each as vice president and president (2012-2013). Serving as vice president, Jerry’s main job is to chair the Member-Guest Tournament.

Secretary Bud Held

Bud hails from Iowa and gallantly served in the U.S. Army for 37 years (active duty and reserves), retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Most of his service took place in Georgia and southern California (he liked Georgia better!). He and his wife Char have lived in PebbleCreek since 1998. Other than golf, Bud likes hiking, working out in our gyms and swimming laps at the pool. He has served on the Golf Committee on two occasions and worked on the PCMGA Member-Guest committee for two years. Serving as secretary, Bud’s main function is to keep the minutes of the PCMGA’s meetings and communicating the results of those meetings via the group email and on the PCMGA website.

Treasurer Paul Metivier

Paul is a Maine native and lived there all his life before coming to Arizona. He and his wife Joanne moved to PebbleCreek in 1998. Paul’s career included 22 years with the Maine State Police and 10 years as a security director at a nuclear power plant. He enjoys sports, traveling and casinos. Paul has previously served as PCMGA treasurer and on the PC golf committee. Serving as treasurer, Paul’s key responsibilities include the keeping of membership records, issuing checks and preparing monthly financial status reports.

The PCMGA would like to thank our outgoing officers John Krasnan, Eric Lee and John Stergulz for their service last year.
