PC Duplicate Bridge (Sanctioned)

The ACBL (American Contract Bridge Leaque) offers clubs throughout the United States to have a special fundraiser bridge game for the Alzheimer’s Association. It is called the Longest Day and it is held June 21 each year. Our club collected items that were donated by members; if a member donated money to The Longest Day fundraiser they were given a raffle ticket and winners could pick any item donated. $1000 was raised using this format. In addition, on June 21 we had a special charity game to raise more money. The total raised from our events was $1500, all given to the Alzheimer’s Association. It’s great to be part of this bridge community; a big thank you to all the members for supporting The Longest Day Fundraiser.
Also some of our Bridge players traveled to the Las Vegas Regional held June 22 through 28. Congratulations to the players for their wins and earning master points; Sandy Kolls winning 12.19 master points and Jerry and Kathleen Burch winning 5.10 master points.
