June 14, 2015: I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! The PC Shalom Club presents its annual movie and dessert night. The cost is $4.50 per person and is sure to be another winner. It will take place in the Tuscany Ballroom at 6:30 p.m. Once we enjoy our delicious dessert the movie will commence.

My Mexican Shiva is the scheduled viewing! The movie is set in the Jewish quarter of Mexico City. It is a gentle comedy about the death of a man resulting in the celebration of his life. Mourners include a Catholic ex-lover, an Orthodox ex-convict and a troupe of mariachis. We’ll let our attendees see what happens with this formula. It is highly rated by critics and should draw a big round of applause.

Though we gotta say goodbye for the summer, our members will be cooling it indoors, traveling, visiting family and/or escaping the heat—we will See You In September (9.20.2015) for our kickoff meeting. Enjoy your summer, encourage new members to join and be safe.

Gail Drucker is our membership chair. Please feel free to contact her about new members who would like to join: [email protected].

Shalom!
