The Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) saw its largest turnout of the season to hear featured speaker Jamie Mayer on April 6 in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. The MCFPC meets the first Wednesday of the month from October through April, and features guest speakers on a variety of timely topics.
The Pocatello, Idaho, native enrolled in Liberty Seminary and received his Master of Arts in religion on his 60th birthday after spending 35 years operating a family farm raising potatoes, grain, and hay. His heartfelt message included encouragement to look forward to new ministry opportunities, embrace life with replacing saying “I can’t…” with “Here am I, send me.” Mayer recounted how life takes on new meaning when we seek to serve the Lord.
In addition to monthly meetings, the MCFPC features outreach activities including traveling to St. Mary’s Food Bank in Surprise on the third Thursday of each month.
