A large group of Irish American Club members (82 to be exact) met at the home of Marie Marlier (I know what you’re thinking—where did she put them all?) on Wednesday, May 6 for a potluck dinner. Such “wunnerful” food these PC ladies—and gentlemen—create. Yummy! Yummy! We gathered to say See You in September to those who are heading to cooler climes for the summer months and Here Comes Summer to those of us who are staying put. However, activities are still being scheduled for the upcoming months for those who choose to tough it out. More on that next issue.

Pictured is Rose Ann Cleland with her amazing six layer rainbow (red, blue, yellow, orange, green and purple) creative cake depicting a day at the beach—little umbrellas, lounge chairs, beach toys, palm trees, etc. It had it all; even little teddy bears complete with sunglasses and bikinis, no less. How cute is that? It was beautiful to behold and even more delicious to eat. Yes, we did eat it!
