High Spirits and Low Scores at the PCM9GA Golf Scramble for Members

Mike Adkins

The Tuscany Falls West course was buzzing with excitement on May 28 as the PebbleCreek Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Association (PCM9GA) hosted its highly anticipated golf scramble. Under pristine Arizona skies, a massive field of over 70 golfers took to the challenging course, turning the day into a showcase of friendly rivalry, great camaraderie, and impressive shot-making.

The scramble format brought out the absolute best in team strategy, with players seamlessly combining their talents to tackle the scenic yet demanding West course layout. Precision off the tee and a hot putter proved to be the winning combination on the pristine greens.

The field was divided into two flights, and after a thrilling morning of competitive play, champions who rose above the stiff competition were crowned:

* Flight 1 Winners: Demonstrated exceptional chemistry and near-flawless execution, carving up the course to secure the top spot on the leaderboard.

Team 1: Keith Anolick, Tom LeChaix, Mike Branham, Steve Schwartz; Team 2: Randy Prinz, Dave Golden, Bill Prater

* Flight 2 Winners: Put on a spectacular performance of their own, combining strategic ball-striking and clutch putting to edge out their competitors in a tight race.

Team 1: Doyle Blaylock, Philip Stegmann, Ken Simmons, Randy Vicek; Team 2: Duane Scott, Steve Johnson, James Miller

Beyond the low scores, the true highlight of the event was the vibrant community spirit that has become the hallmark of the PCM9GA. The Nine-Holers once again proved that great golf and great friends are a perfect match.
