Hats Off to the Bocce Club!

Caela Casarino, Publicity Director, PC Bocce Club

Most members of the PebbleCreek Bocce Club are now proud owners of either a PebbleCreek Bocce Club hat, visor, or nametag, provided free by the club’s registration fees. PC Bocce Club President Tom Bose worked long and hard to put together the best logos and colors, which were selected and voted upon at our last club meeting. The products arrived sooner than expected!

The Bocce Club also sponsored a Christmas canned food drive that was highly successful. The boxes of canned food and non-perishable items were donated to the Agua Fria Food Bank. Thank you to all of those in the community who contributed to this rewarding event!

The winter bocce session continues on after breaking for the Christmas/New Year holidays and will continue through the week of March 17. The Friday night skill training and social play will be revisited after the holidays. After that our short spring season will start, so watch all PC publications for updates on the Friday night play and registrations dates. The new courts are running smoothly and the new lighting continues somewhere on the horizon for installation.

Lastly, the Annual Picnic will be held on Saturday, March 18 at Sunrise Park. Food will be provided by the Fire-up Freedom Grill Fire Truck, which has been well-received here in PC at other picnics. Mark the date on your calendar now even though updates will be posted throughout the season.
