The Singles Club traveled to a different type of happy hour at the Westward Speakeasy. It is a secret room reserved for only “special guests” that is inside The Craftsman Kitchen & Cocktails restaurant. The experience is usually reserved for frequent guests who are on a preferred list, but we got to try it out first.
It is a dimly lit lounge atmosphere with velvet furniture and low cocktail tables, suitable for group conversions along with music of our choice. There is also a beautiful bar for those who prefer higher seats. They make their own handcrafted small batch spirits as well as specially prepared appetizers. The popular appetizer items were the whipped potatoes, lamb lollipops, lettuce wraps, and crab cakes. There was a beautiful cozy fireplace. The group members all said it was a great event.
