Chapter Q’s summer reunion with camping girls
Ronnie Levine
Camping4Girls Chapter Q had a fun reunion at Golden Corral with the four girls we sent to camp for a week in June. The Heritage Elementary girls were so excited to tell us about their adventures. All their favorite activities revolved around horseback riding! The girls also received from us all their school supplies for the 2026–27 school year in accordance with the school’s requests.
The parents agree that the week away taught them skills that will serve them well for the rest of their lives. They gain confidence and see that they are able to trust themselves to make good choices. They also made new friends and got closer to their existing friends.
This month, Chapter Q will have our first meeting of the 2026–27 year. We will discuss the upcoming fundraisers and make plans for sending the next group of 4th graders from Heritage Elementary to camp.
Our members meet monthly throughout the year in the PebbleCreek Clubhouse. We also meet with the chosen girls throughout the year, and we keep in touch with the girls who attended camp in the past while they are still at Heritage Elementary. This year we will have girls in 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades!
