Lenora Pliska
Lenora Pliska is the Pottery Sculpture Club Artist of the Month for January 2024. When asked about her experience, Lenora shared the following:
I have always liked making things: sewing, crafts, renovating, etc. So, when we moved to PebbleCreek the Pottery Club immediately got my interest. I took my first pottery lessons in 2017 (I think), and I was hooked. I often complain that I don’t have enough time to do more projects.
I am a snowbird from Canada, and this summer, for the first time, I invested in some clay and a few tools and got to work up there. I couldn’t put my ideas on hold for the entire summer. Even there, I complained about not having enough time for pottery. Some things never change!
Many of the Pottery Club members have become friends, and I love the atmosphere in general. It’s always hard to leave in the spring.
