What a great season of fun, fellowship, and competitions in the PC Gun Club! There were six competitions ranging from just good-ol’-shootin’ to some rather quirky timed contests and yes, dueling.
The competitions are fierce with a lot of trash–talking and joking! We had some amazing winning scores, so read on and check them out!
The season started with the Dueling Tree, where you have a limited amount of ammo to use to flip the paddles from your side all to your opponent’s side before they do it to you and before you run out of ammo!
Rimfire winners: 1st Bob Lukes, 2nd Phil Batton, 3rd Scott Wood
Centerfire winners: 1st Mitch Counce, 2nd Arty Bartlett, 3rd Phil Batton
The ‘quirky’ competition was a Timed Bowling Pin Shoot where you have five bowling pins to shoot completely off a plank in the least amount of time.
Rimfire winners: 1st Mitch Counce, 11.39 seconds; 2nd Dan Borchers, 11.56 seconds; 3rd Sue Harrison, 13.01 seconds.
Centerfire winners: 1st Dale Knutson, 13.19 seconds; 2nd Mitch Counce, 15.54 seconds; 3rd Jerry Younker, 17.91 seconds.
The just–good–shootin’ competitions were Trap, Pistol, and Rifle.
Trap winners level 1: 1st Dan Borchers with 48 out of 50; 2nd Ted Blaine, 43; 3rd Dave Cousminer, 43.
Trap winners level 2: 1st Louie Wilber, 41; 2nd Wayne Zwak, 40; 3rd Jim Pollock, 40.
Trap winners level 3: 1st Dale Knutson, 32; 2nd Jerry Younker, 31; 3rd John Shaner, 30.
