All Roads Lead to PebbleCreek Senior Softball

Fred Dresser

Previous articles have informed you that the PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) started their 27th season in October 2021. The PCSSA also remembers those who played the game before us by honoring them on our Memorial Wall.

Each player in the PCSSA traveled many roads before landing here at the Robson Field of Dreams. These players come from all across this great country, as well as from Canada. Their backgrounds encompass a variety of professions, as well as military service.

Many played the game of baseball in their early years. They played in open fields, alleys, sandlots, and streets. Now they play on a well-kept field and enjoy the camaraderie and harassment from their fellow players. Yes, it is true that many of these individuals are up in years; however, they still believe that they can be the next great superstar.

It’s been said of our players that they have a 20-year-old brain that says to their body, “You can do this,” and the body looks back at the brain and says, “Okay brain, get ready for the pain.”

They play for the love of the game.
