This month, you really need to rush into the Creative Arts Center (CAC) and Expressions Gallery at your first opportunity. The entire CAC, including the Gallery, is closing for refurbishment beginning Monday, Aug. 3 and will not reopen until Monday, Aug. 31. If you have a key to the facility, do not use it during the closure!
Intake for consignors will begin on Aug. 31. So, when you return to the CAC to shop, you’ll discover lots of new items. Consignors, you do not need to remove items from the Gallery in advance of the closure. Staff will ensure that everything is protected from damage.
The following items will continue to be shown in the Gallery upon reopening: jewelry, paintings, ceramics, carvings, doll clothes and accessories, and so much more. Everything will seem so much more vibrant in the refreshed environment.
Right now, you might consider a new plant stake for your flowers. Stay safe in the heat and return to the cool CAC on the 31st.
