Zita Wessa was overwhelmed with hundreds of birthday cards for her 90th birthday. Her children, Scott and Lori and their families know how much she loves retrieving mail from her mailbox everyday. They decided to surprise her by asking family, friends, and their friends to all send her a card. They never expected she would receive hundreds of cards. One day she received 47 cards.
Her birthday was in February. She celebrated “in style” with family and friends at a surprise party at Old Pueblo in Litchfield Park. Guests came from Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, Idaho, and California. The guests were all a surprise for her too.
