Rovin’ Pebbles RV Club Roamin’ in Quartzsite

Hi! We are Daisy and Penny Anderson, the “fur babies” of Richard and Virginia, here to report on our Rovin’ days at Quartzsite. Over the days of roamin,’ rovin,’ and rollin’, Dad got our playpen out and we got to make all these observations.

In this all-inclusive RV Boondocking town, Quartzsite the Boondocking Capital of the World, it was heard that it was a great option for our parents and any RVer. Anyone who sells something that is RV-related was represented here in January. Those in need of accessories, parts, or an RV found it under the Big Tent or in the Midway of the Quartzsite RV Show. And, this year, Harvest Host even sponsored seminars.

Tuesday started out dark and rainy, but quickly changed by nightfall. Dad found a nice flat space when we arrived mid-afternoon. Our space had nice gravel and was not too muddy for our paws. Bow-Wow! Prices had gone up, it cost $60 for the four nights.

It rained off and on Wednesday morning at coffee time, so Mom and Dad entertained the Beckers inside our RV. Best we remember, “The folks thought it was great to get to know Hal and Marilyn, with Marilyn being a great help to Mom with set-up as a second set of paws, I mean hands.” After coffee, the Pebbles then all left on a YOYO and returned happy and dry for Rovin’ Pebbles camaraderie, happy hour, and a potluck of lasagna with all the trimmings.

By Thursday and Friday more Pebbles had arrived, and off to the Big Tent they roamed. We heard it was really crowded with wide-eyed lookers and others with bags of campers’ treasures. When all returned each evening, we got to lay out in our yard to enjoy the savory aroma of a real wood campfire, fire roasted hot dogs with all the trimmings, cowboy baked beans, and s’mores with tales of a closer, cleaner campsite for 2025!

Yes, we are happy to say everyone had a good time, window shopping (some RV accessory purchases), sightseeing, and rollin’ and rovin’ with the Pebbles.

Reporters Daisy and Penny are the fur babies of PebbleCreek Rovin’ Pebbles RV Club members, Richard Anderson and Virginia Mouw.
