Summertime does not stop the Wine Club, and our August event was a fantastic example of why not. “An Evening of Italian Wine & Cuisine” began with a delicious reception wine (Dipinti, Vigneti delle Dolomiti Chardonnay) at check-in and just got better after that.

Maverick Beverage Company representative Christina Arellano gave a brief presentation of wine making in Italy, followed by an incredible pairing of wines with dinner. The Roasted Branzino, Veal Scallopini, and Potato Gnocchi were all raved about. So much so, that the club had chef Kevin Wanta come out to acknowledge our appreciation of a job incredibly well done. Finishing the meal with classic cannoli, perfect. The only thought was whether cannoli is a finger food. The answer is yes!

September was the return of member favorite, Caymus Winery, that no one wants to miss. Going into fall, October is the club’s very fun Halloween party. Remember to bring your own glass, there will be a plethora of wines to choose from. Sign–up for that party is through Sept. 28.

We are always welcoming new members. Please visit our website, pcwineclub.com, for details. We’d love to have you join us.
