Jerome Sims

Captain Jerome says that the Striking Eagles have won Wii Bowling titles in the past and to win any title is special, but to win this title is very special because there are so many great bowlers and great teams in this fast growing sport, it really took a great team effort every night.

But I must give a lot of credit and praise to our teammates, because Bonita and I were away in Michigan celebrating the birth of our new granddaughter for the first four weeks of the 10 week season and our teammates really did a great job of holding us in.

They were undefeated and in first place while we were away and we were able to maintain the first place position upon our return, having to overcome some great bowling against us until we stumbled in week nine and fell to second. We had to win all four points on our final night of bowling to capture the title and we rose to the occasion.

Now that the winter league has started, our goal is to defend our title. We know that is going to be a very difficult task, but I do feel that we are fully prepared for the challenge.

Let’s go, Striking Eagles.
