Attention Wii Bowlers and Wanna-Bii-Wii Bowlers! There will be a Double Elimination Wii Bowling Tournament on Sunday, December 21 in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room at the Tuscany Clubhouse. Participation is nearly unlimited as we will attempt to accommodate all who are interested. The event is open to veteran Wii’ers from the Wii Bowling League as well as to rookie Wii’ers who may never have picked up a Wii control in their life. If you’ve holiday guests in town they are welcome to participate as well, though children must be at least 15 years of age and accompanied by a playing adult.
Registration will run December 1 through 18 at the Eagle’s Nest Activities Office. Registration is $15 and includes a Burger Bar lunch (includes burger, toppings, chips, a side and a cookie). Register as a two man team—same sex or co-ed. If you are a solo we will do our best to match you up with another, but we can’t guarantee success. This will be a scratch bowling tournament—no handicap. Each participant is guaranteed at least two games of Wii. The more you win, the more you play. There will be an over 200 and under 200 division if there are a sufficient number of entries.
The tournament will commence at 9:00 a.m. Seeding and time slot for the first round will be published a day or two prior to tournament so not everyone will need arrive for the 9:00 a.m. opening round. All registrants should be available throughout the day of the tournament, with completion anticipated in early afternoon.
Join the Wii fun and catch the Wii fever that is spreading through PebbleCreek. A good time will be had by all. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Hope to see you at the Wii Weekend Tournament.
