Want to Learn to Play the Ukulele?

Have you ever thought of playing an instrument? The Ukulele Club of PebbleCreek welcomes all residents and guests to our Open House on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Palm Room at Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse.

The ukulele is easy to play as it has only four strings and a short fret board. You can learn in no time. Learn a few simple chords and you can play all kinds of music, including hits of the 1920s to the present time as well as John Denver, the Beatles, Johnny Cash, and Hawaiian melodies. Ukuleles are inexpensive to buy and easy to maintain. Its name, “the Jumping Flea,” tells you just how much fun it is!

At the Open House you can try the ukulele and learn a few chords or you can just come, check us out, and sing along. No musical experience is required and you don’t have to be a great singer. Our members range from beginners to experienced, and we are non-competitive. We meet every Thursday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Palm Room at Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse. Join us for our Open House or any Thursday. We have loads of fun!
