2022 PCMGA Club Championship Gross and Net Flight Winners

The PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association (PCMGA) Club Championship was won by Wade Biddix. He shot rounds of 73, 70, and 76 for a gross score of 219. This PCMGA major tournament was held on Feb. 2, 3, and 10.
At the end of the first round, Wade held a two-shot lead over Randy Lundquist. Wade’s 2-under par 70 in the second round gave him an eight-shot lead over Randy, Rick Boyles, and seven-time club champion Jack Schafer.
In the third and final round on the West course, Wade played the first seven holes in even par, maintaining his eight-shot lead. On the par-5 eighth hole, his second shot left him about 85 yards to a back pin, but in a divot. He hit his sand wedge a little thin, landing his ball on the down slope, and it rolled into the water over the green. He made a double bogey while Randy made a birdie, a three-shot swing.
On the par-5 10th hole, Wade also left his second shot within sand wedge distance. This time Wade hit it fat and splashed his ball into the pond in front of the green. It was another double bogey, and his lead shrunk to 3. Pucker time? Randy’s bogey on the 11th hole provided some needed relief. Wade then focused on hitting fairways and greens. He parred holes 11 through 18 and won by five shots.

A total of 134 players competed in 10 separate flights. The Championship Flight played from the Black/Blue combo tees. All 10 flights played the Eagle’s Nest/East/West rotation.
