Quilts for the veterans are in the display windows at the Creative Arts Center.
Last year began a tradition of the PC Quilters recognizing our PC Veterans on Veterans Day. This year the event will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Renaissance Theater, Tuscany Falls on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
Quilt members use donated fabric and their own to create red white and blue themed quilts to be given to PC residents that are veterans. At the November 2017 program 25 veterans were recognized and honored. This year 20 veterans will be honored. A waiting list for next year has begun. It is the members’ way of recognizing those that have sacrificed and served for our democracy.
