Unit 5
Maggi Maas
On September 28, 25 residents of Unit 5 met at Eagle’s Nest for lunch. We were seated at two tables, one for six couples and one for the 13 ladies who came alone. Lunch was ordered from a special menu which included the salad bar.
After lunch Emma Moseley led the ladies in a game of Purse Scavenger Hunt where points were awarded for the various items found in their purses. The three ladies with the highest points received a little mad money as a prize, donated by Emma.
Unit 5’s next event will be on November 4 in the Chianti Room at Tuscany Falls with cocktails at 4:30 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 5:30 p.m. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Unit 61

There has been much fun in Unit 61 and lots of laughs. The Wednesday Putters Club group has many neighbors participating with a competitive spirit. The happy group meets for breakfast afterward. A special kudos to Sabrina for her expertise with this wild and loud group.
The men’s lunch welcomed new neighbors and friends as they lunched outside. Sabrina managed this group also.
The Unit 61 social committee is planning a Halloween Block Party. It will be full of games, food and, of course, fun!
Unit 52

Unit 52 Ladies who Lunch enjoyed a terrific luncheon Wednesday, September 14 at Eest Asian Bistro, one of our favorite spots. Hosted by Judy Hale, the food and service were excellent as always and everyone loved returning here and introducing it to some of the newer residents.
Our very busy Unit has two upcoming events this year: A Trivia Night November 13 at Eagle’s Nest, replacing our usual Oktoberfest, and the annual Holiday Party December 4 in the Chianti Room.

The ladies of Unit 52 who lunch enjoyed a wonderful, chatty afternoon at The Haymaker Goodyear on Wednesday, March 12. Hosted by Cathi Hollis, it was a fun time over terrific food.
