Kare Bears luncheon reminders – November 9, 2016

We look forward to seeing all of you that bought tickets for the Kare Bears annual Fall Luncheon on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. This year our theme will be Kare Bears Shining Stars. The doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.
Here are items to remember to bring;
-Your lunch ticket: without it, you will not be allowed to enter the ballroom.
-Cash and your checkbooks for the raffle and silent auction donations. Our current value of all donations is just under $10,000.
A few of the 11 items that will be available in the Silent Auction are a Sports Lovers Basket including an autographed football from the Cardinals, tickets from the Diamondbacks and golf at Palm Valley; a stay at Los Abrigados in Sedona from Mary Couzens, a large basket of liquors and gourmet foods from Candy Klackle; genuine aquamarine earrings from Osborne Jewelers; brooch of a bear from Jewelry by Victor and a private wine tasting for 20 people from Total Wine and more.
The luncheon will be highlighted by a presentation of the prestigious Founder’s Community Service Award honoring an outstanding PebbleCreek volunteer. Also the Exceptional Service Awards to a few dedicated Kare Bears volunteers along with the Friends of Kare Bears awards to an individual or business who have performed a particular service for Kare Bears.

September donations

The Kare Bears Board of Directors wishes to acknowledge the following donations received in September.
General donations were received from the following individuals:
Pat Butkiewicz, Steve Vincent/Shirley Dickover, A. Kornbluth, Gloria Obyrne, Gary and Linda Atkinson and Delores Rippe.
An equipment donation was received from Kathy Janda.
The generosity and thoughtfulness of these residents will enable Kare Bears to continue to serve the needs of our PebbleCreek residents.
Kare Bears house extending hours effective November 1st

The Kare Bears House will be extending hours of operation effective Tuesday, November 1.
The house will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. On Saturdays the house will be open from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
The house will be closed two days in November:
– Wednesday, November 9, annual Kare Bears Luncheon
– Thursday, November 24, Thanksgiving Day
