A very important and necessary PebbleCreek group is currently looking for volunteers. The time invested will be minimal, but the results will be huge.
Volunteers are needed to help complete the ranks of the Unit Contacts Group. Formerly called unit reps, these men and women are an active group of volunteers willing to serve their neighbors and their community. Their responsibilities include being the one person their residents can count on to hold their unit together. They are to maintain an up-to-date unit directory (a current unit resident list is provided upon starting) and email address list; welcome new residents and introduce them to their neighbors; relay information between the HOA board/management and their residents via email (provided by the Unit Contacts Group coordinator); and, if so desired, oversee planning of social events for their unit. It would be very helpful to have a volunteer in every unit who is willing to serve in the role of unit contact.
Out of the 65 units which comprise PebbleCreek today, 22 are currently without a contact person/s (almost one-third!), which means that many residents are missing out on noteworthy information, and multiple newcomers are not being welcomed properly to their new home. Units in need of a volunteer include Units 1, 1A, 4, 6, 7, 11, 14, 16, 17, 23, 24, 26, 27C (lots 121-144, 214-283), 30, 31, 36, 37, 39, 48, 49B, 55B, and 55C. If you are a resident of any of these units and are interested in hearing more about what this volunteer role involves, email Janet Miazga, Unit 51 contact and Unit Contacts Group coordinator, at [email protected]. It would certainly be great if all of our community units had a volunteer contact!
Many thanks go out to all of those residents who have given their time in the past, or currently do serve as a unit contact; your participation is greatly appreciated by the residents of PebbleCreek. Let’s try to find volunteers for these units currently without a contact. Please consider giving a little of your time to contribute to our community so that no one misses out on important news or a friendly welcome!
