If you were lucky, you happened upon a frolic of fairies on April 21 on the Eagle’s Nest golf course; it was an amazing sight to behold. Sheri Sears created the Tutus and Tiaras Golf Charity in which more than 130 ladies wore tutus and tiaras to participate in this fun golf event that benefits children in crisis here in the West Valley. Helping Others Together (HOT) and their Sugar Plum Fairies Program hosted this worthy event to raise awareness, volunteers, and contributions for a program that provides more than 300 children with a magical Christmas that includes personalized stockings, Christmas PJs, home–baked Christmas cookies and, of course, lots of toys from Santa, as well as a Fry’s gift card for a beautiful Christmas dinner for the family.
A special thank you to Roy and Judi Johnson of Johnson Realty for sponsorship of a few holes. Everyone had a fabulous time, but the big winners were the children and their families that will benefit this Christmas. Want to spread some fairy dust around? Consider becoming a volunteer or contributor.
