Transition Advisory Group Formed to Assist HOA Board

The PebbleCreek Golf Resort Homeowners Association (HOA) Board of Directors has assembled a Transition Advisory Group to identify and analyze what will be necessary for a successful transition from developer control. Members of the group include Dave Deal, Cathy Lindstrom, Dan Myers, Rick Savage, Nancy Wilson Smith, and Sue Wilson.

The Transition Advisory Group has been tasked with developing a sequence of events that needs to occur to complete the transition and create a timeline for them, regardless of the actual timing of the transition.

“If home sales continue at the present pace, we may be sold out in the next few years,” noted board president, Jack Sarsam. “So, we need to begin thinking today about transition in the future, starting with all the questions that need to be addressed and an assessment of what is needed in order to run the community. Our HOA is a business and functions like a small city, with ultimately over 10,000 residents—so there is a lot to consider in making the ultimate transition successful.”

The Transition Advisory Group is working to construct a “game plan” for their mission and will be reporting to the HOA Board on a regular basis.
