To celebrate May as Military Appreciation Month, the Activities Office distributed poppies on behalf of all of our veterans. This project was planned to help all of us remember the service and sacrifice that our veterans have given to save the freedoms that we as Americans enjoy and treasure.
Although the Activities Office did not sell the poppies, they did accept donations that were given by individuals. All the money, totaling $595, was given to the American Legion Post #61.
The Activities Office is proud of our PebbleCreek residents for their support, and we want to say thank you to everyone who donated to our Color PebbleCreek Red event for the month of May. We also want to express our sincere gratitude to all the veterans, past and present, for the gift of all of the freedom that the American people enjoy, support, and celebrate.
