Tour dates announced

The Home Tour Committee is pleased to announce that the eighteenth annual PebbleCreek Home Tour will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. each day. Only 400 tickets will be sold for this annual event at a cost of $15 per person that is tax deductible. Sales dates for tickets will be announced soon.

Homeowners from our own community are generously opening their homes for this year’s tour. Their homes offer a wide variety of décor such as European, Eclectic, Western, Contemporary, Tropical and African. These homeowners have used their talents to decorate their homes along with incorporating ideas from their experiences and travel. In addition, a few homeowners have completed remodeling projects and additions to their homes. For those looking for landscaping ideas, you will see expansive patios, fountains, pools and fire pits.

All money collected from ticket sales benefits the City of Goodyear Police Department’s Shop with a Cop program to be held on December 6. Children chosen for this event will shop at Wal-Mart on Estrella Parkway with a member of the police department. This program gives these children not only a fun day of shopping, but more importantly a positive experience with a police officer. The Goodyear Police officers will take 20 children shopping for this very special day. The Home Tour Committee has adjusted its charity event to reflect this change by scheduling the Home Tour for one day only.

The committee is currently seeking men and women who would be willing to volunteer to be a Host or Hostess for the tour. If you are interested please contact Judy Peterson at 399-6046. Host/Hostesses will be scheduled for only half the tour duration so they will have an opportunity to view the tour homes as well.

If you have questions about the tour, please call any of our committee members: Wally Campbell at 451-1100; Charlotte Krause at 693-9659; Judy Peterson at 399-6046; Maggie Philippon at 536-5901.

We look forward to seeing you on the tour November 8.
