Happy St. Patrick’s Day from the PebbleCreek Irish American Club! March is a busy and exciting month for our club with two of our major events happening. The 13th annual Irish American Club Charity Golf Tournament will be held on March 12 and March 13, and the Emerald Ball will be held on March 16. Both events sold out quickly!
February happenings included a monthly club meeting, where members learned about the history of Irish dancing. February also included two hooleys. A hooley is a small gathering at a member’s home to introduce newer members to other club members and share general merriment in the traditional Irish fashion. In early February, a hooley was hosted by club members Cheryl and Coy Baugh and Cheryl and Steve Kunkle. The attendees were Dennis and Kathy Case, Jay and Robin Flanagan, Judy Friedman and Sy Rosenthal, Jane Barnhart and Michael Jordan, Janice and Jim Nocie, and Roy and Sharon Freemire.
