The 31st season of the PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) started on Oct. 19, 2025, and it will conclude on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The tournament for each league (American, Central, and National) to determine the league champions will start on Monday, April 6. This year the tournament teams will consist of the top four teams from each league.

The 31st season saw the league field 23 teams spread across three leagues. To accommodate this growth and the number of games played, the Field of Dreams is utilized from Monday to Saturday.

The umpires who will umpire these games are also the men and women that play this game. There is a rumor that some of the managers bring a fat wallet and have a lengthy conversation with the umpires before their game. A smart manager, however, should never question an umpire’s calltheir eyesight maybe, but not the call.

No doubt that those of you who have attended a game or two have heard the public address announcers announce a players name as they come to bat. It’s kind of interesting to hear a player’s name announced along with a comment or two, some of which are pretty creative!

The PCSSA is not players, managers, coaches, and volunteers, it is also a family. Family, as defined in the dictionary, is a group of people united by certain convictions or a common affiliation: Fellowship.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend a game, come on down to the Field of Dreams and witness the camaraderie that exists between the players, managers, and coaches. Gametimes for February will start at 10 a.m. to allow for any frost that may occur during the month. March games will start at 9 a.m.
