The family, friends, and former PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) teammates of Don Wyman gathered on Oct. 28 at Robson Field to unveil the plaque on the Memorial Wall for Don. Although Don retired from PebbleCreek Softball in 2004, he was instrumental in making Robson Field a reality. He and many, many other players spent their beautiful spring days ushering for the Oakland Athletics at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. The money that the league earned those spring days built the beginning field that is now Robson Field.
To President Randy Netherda and Board members, thank you for maintaining the Wall of many memories. It is a special place in PebbleCreek.
To Don’s teammate, Rich Wilmes, a very special thank you for making Oct. 28 happen in honoring Don.
