Tennis Club Gave Back to the Community for the Holidays

New Life Center gift donations around the tree at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.

Stepping up to give a very merry ho-ho-ho to the children at the New Life Center this year, the PebbleCreek Tennis Club asked its members to donate toys and gift cards to benefit the mothers and children living in protection during the holidays. The club members responded enthusiastically by donating a myriad of gifts for all ages to make the children’s Christmas a little brighter. Thank you for all your generosity.

The drive culminated with the Holiday Dinner Dance on Dec. 6 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The toys and gift cards were gently placed around the tree for all to enjoy. A true vision of the season: sharing our gifts with others.

The dinner dance was magical. The evening started with appetizers, followed by a dinner of either chicken or medallions of beef, served by the admirable staff of PebbleCreek Catering. The tables were stunningly decorated with illuminated red and silver balls in a glass hurricane. The evening provided hours of dancing to the tunes from Rhythm Edition.

The evening finery was sparkly dresses, holiday ties, and dancing shoes! One of the comments repeated by many was that it was nice to see everyone outside of their tennis attire, and wondering how we could identify the person without a hat!

A big thank you to Joan Patchin and her crew for the well thought out planning for this event. It was an over the top evening of generosity, dinner, and dancing.
