Every month there is a birthday lunch for the singles who have a birthday that month. It lifts their spirits since several singles have family members living far away. This is usually at someone’s house, with a group of around 10 people, which is a nice way to get to know other members of the club. In August we had an awesome cake that was made by Rose Ann Cleland, The Cake Lady. We had a great time and the fabulous cake was the hit of the day. During the summer and fall we have a lot of fun and interesting activities planned for club members. Some of the popular activities include golf, happy hours, new member get acquainted meetups, theater outings, lunch get–togethers, game nights, pool gatherings, and visiting local attractions that keep our members very active.
