See you in October? Wait a minute, that song was titled “See You in September” and was performed by The Happenings in 1966. September has arrived and the bleachers, warm–up area, and playing field are currently vacant.
Now that we have that cleared up, in October, the PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) will begin their 30th season of softball here in PebbleCreek. Just think about it—30 seasons of softball being played by friends and neighbors who live here in PebbleCreek! These players come from all across this country as well as Canada and from all walks of life.
Granted some of the players who are playing this game in 2024 were probably not even on this planet in 1966!
Thirty seasons of softball, 30 seasons of friendships, 30 seasons of harassment, and 30 seasons of stories that even Ripley’s Believe It or Not would find hard to believe.
To see what makes this league one to be proud of, c’mon down to the field and take in a game or two. Games are played Monday through Saturday starting in October.
