The PebbleCreek Republican Club welcomed members and invited guests to the Thursday, September 1 meeting in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Social time began at 6:30 p.m. with a cash bar and the meeting followed at 7:00 p.m. Throughout the evening there was a complimentary snack table, provided through members’ dues, inside the ballroom.
Following the formal meeting there was a particularly timely and informative program for members and all Arizona residents. Mark Spencer, Southwest Projects Coordinator for Judicial Watch, spoke on Judicial Watch “because no one is above the law.” Mark, author of A Moment in Time, facilitates investigations, development and community outreach, media relations, FOIA requests and limitative support for Judicial Watch. There was a Q & A period following the presentation and many members and guests met with Mark Spencer after the meeting with questions and comments.
PCRC is working on its popular Veterans Day Dinner November 3, collecting images of PCRC veterans in their uniforms during their service for a digital presentation. These PCRC veterans are requested to submit, by email, a photo or send a digital image of themselves in uniform during their respective time of service with their name, branch of service and their period of service: For example, John Doe, USAF, Korea. Please send to Sandra Hand at [email protected] or bring it to the Activities Center in Eagle’s Nest where it will be scanned and returned to the Activities Center in the same envelope with your name. Please add a note that you are a member of PCRC.
Tickets for the Veterans Day Dinner were on sale at the meeting and are still on sale until the event is sold-out; the cost is $40 and tickets will be sold on a first-come basis. If members want a full table, they need to collect money from their friends and pay at once for the table or else pay for the table themselves and collect later.
