Republican Club elects new officers for 2016-2018

The PebbleCreek Republican Club welcomed members and invited guests to the Thursday, December 3 meeting in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The first order of business was a large thank you to the 2015 board by President Linda Migliore: Anne Gregerson, vice president; Bari Cavallo, secretary; Dan Borchers, treasurer; Terry Roth, membership chair; Sandy Miller, social chair; Meg Chrisman, fundraising chair and Liz Gibson, public relations chair. It was also announced that the club membership is now a grand total of 384.

The election of officers and the board for 2016-2018 followed. Linda Migliore, president; Bari Cavallo, vice president; Sam McKinstry, secretary; Jon Schofield, treasurer; John and Donna Kotch, membership chairs; Dorie Hedien, social chair; Meg Chrisman, fundraising chair and Liz Gibson, public relations chair. Returning are Johnny Cavallo, sergeant at arms, John Parsons, chaplain and Herb Streuli, parliamentarian.

The guest speaker was Dr. Kelli Ward, Arizona State Senator, who is currently running for the U.S. Senate. Dr. Ward, in addition to senatorial duties, works in the ER in Lake Havasu and Kingman. Following the excellent presentation by Senator Ward on her vision for the future of Arizona there was a long and lively follow-up Q & A period.

The PebbleCreek Republican Club is looking forward to 2016 and another year of informative programs and inspiring speakers.
