The PebbleCreek Quilters had challenged themselves starting in October to collect 500 items by December to donate to the Agua Fria Food Bank. The results were 455 items, $820. For the calendar year of 2014 the group donated 685 items and $1020 to Agua Fria. Congratulations and a big thank you to all of the PebbleCreek Quilters. We also donated 198 quilts, eight toys and 10 walker bags to our various charities. Thank you for all the hard work that went into choosing, organizing and delivering the items by our 2014 Community Service chairs, JoAnn Stansell and Diane Lawrence, and the Agua Fria deliverer Amy Steiner.

Saturday, January 3 the PebbleCreek Quilters had a special day of quilting and much fun was had by all 29 quilters who showed up. There were personal projects finished as well as many charity projects started and completed. The Diamondback Room was humming with machines sewing, sharing of helpful hints and many creative juices flowing. This is only the beginning of all the exciting gatherings planned for the 2015 PebbleCreek Quilters. You are more than welcome to check out our club and visit our website at www.pebblecreekquilters.org for more information.
