It’s party time for the PebbleCreek Pickleball Club.
Our club’s biggest social of the year, the Welcome Back Concert will be held on Oct. 20, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest dining room and patio.
The featured band will be the Rhythm Edition, a high-energy, ten-member (with seven lead singers) variety dance and show band. “We don’t just play music, we put on a show,” said group member Dennis Fike. “We like to say we bring the party to the party.”
The group has opened for acts the Grass Roots, the Turtles, Steppenwolf, and the Marshall Tucker Band. Rhythm Edition plays oldies, Latin, and top 40 dance music.
As of press time, the price of tickets, which includes the buffet dinner and entertainment were not established; however, the meal—served from 5:30 to 7 p.m.—will be fried chicken, red skin potato salad, and coleslaw, along with choices from a pie bar.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and the cash bar opens at 4:31 p.m.
Tickets must be purchased online at our club website, www.pcpickleball.org, no later than Oct. 14. They should be available for sale on Oct. 1.
This is almost the holiday season, so when you pick up your tickets, please bring canned food donations for those not as lucky as us.
