Pets of the Month: Sadie and Cassidy Love to Entertain Us

Our girls, Sadie and Cassidy, were rescued as kittens roaming around the streets of Long Beach and Norwalk, Calif., respectively. Sadie, the black and white one, is a little devil and likes to get into constant trouble. She is also an amazing hunter. However, living in an indoor only cat household, her catches are limited to scraps of paper and the occasional bug.

Cassidy is a gentle and very relaxed cat who gets the zoomies at dusk as well as dawn. She has complete heterochromia (different colored eyes) and the recessive epistatic gene that makes her pure white with all pink little beans (toes)! I get asked this question a lot and, no, luckily she is not deaf.

We are blessed to have both of them in our family as they are a constant source of entertainment.
