Rescuing Willow
Hi! My name is Willow Sabrina Eberenz (but you can call me Willow). I have lived in PebbleCreek since July, but was born in April or May. My mom (Xan Eberenz) moved from Virginia with my big sister, Sienna (and my cat brother, Toby, who I never got to meet) three and half years ago. She wanted to be near her parents who also live in PebbleCreek. In July, Sienna was diagnosed with cancer. My mom knew she wanted another dog to love before she lost her, so she started looking on PetFinder and fell in love with my picture. She brought Sienna to meet me, who had to give the seal of approval, so I owe it to her that I have my family. She was a good sister to me, but she passed away in September, so now it’s just me. Thankfully, mom pet sits, so I have a lot of really good friends who come to visit me all the time. One in particular, is my BFF (best friend forever) … she comes over a lot.
I had a rough start. I was found by Pima County in a shed with my siblings. But I was so cute that a rescue took me right away, and I was in foster care for only a couple of weeks before my mom found me.
Now, I have the best life ever! I just love it here so much, especially my mom and my grandparents. The only thing I don’t like is that heat. It was a good thing they found me in July. It was so hot; I was hungry and had no one to love me. My mom and I miss Sienna so much, but I know that my love has helped make it easier for her and that makes me extra happy.
Hello from Sofie
Hello, my name is Sofie. I had a rough life before coming to my forever home with Robert and Jan. Someone had most of my teeth pulled and when found by a rescuer, I was pregnant and ended up having my kittens by c-section at the Legacy Veterinary Hospital. Pam cared for me and my kittens, and then Christine fostered me for a while. Sue Ann, the cat lady here in PebbleCreek, heard that Robert and Jan had just lost their 18-year-old cat Gidget and were interested in adopting an adult cat. I met them and they immediately adopted me and brought me to their home. I just love it here. I have a cat tree and my favorite toys are not the store bought ones, but large bottle caps from Gatorade bottles.I love to knock pens off their desk. I am a total lap cat and just love my forever folks. I rarely let them sit down without jumping up in their laps. It was a match made in Heaven.
