Meet Sandy! She is new to PebbleCreek, having just arrived in December. She is 12 years old and was adopted from Rusty’s Animal Sanctuary in New River, Ariz. This rescue is exclusively for pets 10 years and older and provides a safe haven for pets to live out the last years of their lives if they are unable to be adopted.
Sandy has one canine brother, Romeo, who is also 12 years old. She has exactly one tooth, having come to the rescue with severe dental disease. That doesn’t keep her from her favorite activity, eating soft food!
Sandy seems thrilled to be in our community! She loves the dog park and riding in the “playpen” in the back of our golf cart. We are working on getting her to love car rides, as Sandy is now a ‘snow bird dog’ and will spend her summers in Minnesota. Her nicknames are Sandra Dee and Muppet.
She is a wonderful addition to our family, and we look forward to meeting even more of you, and your dogs, at the dog park!
