PebbleCreek Duplicate Bridge Club celebrated our 20th Anniversary with our annual luncheon and meeting on Feb. 20. The club began in 2003 with a once-a-month bridge game at Eagle’s Nest in the activities building. After moving the club to the card rooms when Tuscany Falls was built, the club grew to be the 5th largest American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) Duplicate Bridge club in the Phoenix area with over 150 members. In the last 10 years the club has organized between 800 and 1,900 tables of bridge a year.

The longtime bridge players who were members from the earliest days were Enid Bross, Cheryl LaMotta, Jackie Wielgosz, Syd Mersereau, Mary Lou Cralle, Chris Mucha, Barb Economou, Glenn and Sue Woodard, Georgia Jacka, Pat Smith, Judy Brown, and Kate Tracy.

During our luncheon we recognized our bridge players who received recognition from the ACBL Ace of Clubs and the Mini-McKenney in the surrounding Phoenix area for the year 2022.
