The annual Mah Jongg Tournament was held March 2 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Hosted by Patty Greene, Mary Georgesen, and Nancy Hansen, 48 players arrived to compete for a winning hand that would result in prize money for their efforts! A total of 16 games were played, eight in the morning and eight in the afternoon. The players enjoyed a soup and salad luncheon followed by yummy cookies in the afternoon. Thanks go to the Tuscany Falls Food/Beverage staff for their assistance in the ballroom setup and serving during our lunch and coffee breaks.
The Tournament was refereed by Alex Potapoff to ensure National Mah Jongg League rules were followed, as well as his counsel in answering any questions during play.
