The PebbleCreek Quilt Club is busily doing what they do best … making quilts! The Community Service chair, Ronda Jones, contacted the organizations we regularly support to see if they were interested in Christmas holiday quilts and all responded yes. This put the team in motion and a call out to the membership for fabric.
One of our members, Jill Weir, more than answered the call. She enthusiastically bought fabric and started creating. She will be spending time over the summer creating more cozy happiness. As for the rest of the community service team and members, they cut up fabric and made kits so that on June 20 our quilters could gather to start sewing the tops together and readying them to be quilted.
The organizations that are the lucky recipients are Hospice of the Valley, Southwest Family Advocacy Center, Luke Air Force Base, and Ryan House.
